Our Roaming Rates

I want to set up roaming on my SIM2021-02-02T11:51:42+00:00

Your GoMo SIM allows you to roam like home in the EU, giving you the ability to use your calls, texts and a chunk of your data as if you were at home.

Roaming and can’t connect to data?2019-10-03T13:25:26+00:00

If you cannot connect to data while roaming:

  1. Check data settings to ensure your data roaming is enabled.
  2. If you are roaming outside of the EU, make sure you have accepted all relevant T&C’s when prompted.
Why have I been charged for my roaming data?2024-03-01T16:29:05+00:00

In the EU you will be charged for roaming if you exceed your allocated allowance of 16GB.

Data allowances if available at the time of roaming can be used while roaming in the EEA subject to fair use limits where applicable. EU roaming fair use allowance is calculated in line with Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 (as amended) and Data wholesale roaming price caps. Where the domestic data allowance has not been fully consumed but the fair use allowance has been fully consumed, a surcharge rate of €1.91 per GB/€0.0019 per MB (based on Regulated rate of €1.55 per GB excl. VAT) will apply until the domestic allowance has been fully consumed. Standard domestic rates apply thereafter.

What’s included in my roaming allowance?2022-09-29T09:35:16+00:00

The availability and quality of services when roaming may vary relative to that which you enjoy as a GoMo customer in Ireland due to regional differences including but not limited to the extent of network infrastructure, the landscape (e.g. due to tunnels, dips, cuttings, mountains and wooded areas and the density, height and fabric of buildings) and differences in the availability of the various network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G).

Voice calls may not connect or may take longer to connect and SMS may take longer or may not be delivered where service is limited.

Data service may be subject to greater latency, lower speeds or more limited availability.  This can result in internet access slowing down, web pages failing to load or problems with voice services carried over the internet (VoIP).  Certain applications such as video or audio applications may suffer from momentary interruptions and it may take more time to complete a task that involves downloading or uploading data, a file, audio or video from or to the internet.

Specific number ranges may be subject to charges that are higher than those which apply to calls and SMS to standard fixed and mobile numbers (e.g. premium numbers and non-standard number ranges that might be free or involve lower costs to customers of the foreign network but are not free when roaming).

If you consider the quality of service falls short of the quality of service commitments in GoMo’s terms and conditions and wish to complain, our Code of Practice and complaint handling procedures can be accessed here.

Where can I use my roaming allowance?2019-10-03T09:34:34+00:00

You can use your calls, texts and a chunk of your data anywhere in the EU and they will be deducted from your allowance like they would at home.

How do I avoid international roaming charges?2024-03-01T16:25:44+00:00

Ensure that you have roaming turned off if you want to avoid roaming charges after you have reached your 16GB allowance.

Do I pay to receive calls while roaming?2019-10-03T13:20:04+00:00

If you are roaming outside of the EU, you will pay for receiving calls. Full details can be found here.
